How can I book a room at SastaStay?

You can book a room through our mobile app, or by visiting our office. Online booking is the fastest method - simply select your preferred hostel, room type, dates, and complete the payment process.

What documents are required for booking?

You'll need a valid government-issued ID (Aadhar card, passport, or driver's license) and a student ID if applicable. For international students, passport and visa documents are required.

Can I book a room for a short duration?

Yes, we offer flexible booking options. You can book for a minimum of 1 week up to a full academic year. Daily rates are also available during vacation periods.

Is there a booking fee or security deposit?

We require a security deposit equivalent to one month's rent, which is refundable at the end of your stay after deducting any damages or outstanding dues. There is no separate booking fee.

💰 Payments & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept online payments via credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and digital wallets. You can also pay through bank transfer or in cash at our office.

Are there any hidden charges?

No, we believe in transparent pricing. The rent includes accommodation, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, and basic maintenance. Additional charges may apply for laundry, meals (if opted), and air conditioning (in selected rooms).

When is the rent due each month?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. A grace period of 5 days is provided, after which a late fee of ₹100 per day may be charged.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, we offer early bird discounts for bookings made 2 months in advance, sibling discounts, and referral bonuses. We also have special rates for long-term stays (6 months or more).

What facilities are included in the hostel?

All our hostels include:

  • High-speed Wi-Fi
  • Furnished rooms with beds, study tables, and storage
  • Common areas with TV
  • Laundry facilities
  • 24/7 security and CCTV
  • Power backup
  • Common kitchen (in selected hostels)
Are meals provided?

Meal plans are optional and available at an additional cost. We offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian options with a focus on nutrition and hygiene. You can choose from monthly, weekly, or pay-as-you-go meal plans.

Is laundry service available?

Yes, we have laundry facilities in all hostels. Self-service washing machines are available at nominal charges, or you can opt for our premium laundry service at additional cost.

What are the visiting hours for guests?

Guests are welcome between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. All visitors must register at the reception and provide valid ID. Overnight stays for guests are generally not permitted, with exceptions made for immediate family with prior approval.

📋 Policies & Rules

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 30 days before check-in receive a full refund. Between 15-30 days, 50% refund is provided. Cancellations within 15 days are non-refundable. Please refer to our detailed cancellation policy for specific cases.

Can I change my room after moving in?

Room changes are possible subject to availability and approval from management. A room change fee may apply. Requests must be submitted in writing at least one week in advance.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability, with additional charges applicable.

Are there any restrictions on electrical appliances?

For safety reasons, high-wattage appliances like heaters, induction cooktops, and air coolers are not permitted. Laptops, mobile chargers, and low-wattage devices are allowed. All electrical items must be BIS certified.
